We have put together a short video showing how the traffic at the 86th and Lafayette Road intersection looks each hour of the day from 6:30am to 7:30pm. The collection of videos were taken on Thursday, November 5th 2015. It was a ‘normal’ day in the neighborhood- when school is in session.

In a previous post, we evaluated if a gas station can survive at the intersection. It is worth the read. In that article, we did additional analysis on the actual traffic data provided to us by the city, the proximity of other gas stations as well as the residential density in the area.

As you will see in the video, an overwhelming majority of the traffic comes just during the morning and evening rush hours with traffic almost non existent during the rest of the day.
